We were so proud to see the US premiere of Jacob Perlmutter and Manon Ouimet's debut film Two Strangers Trying Not to Kill Each Other take place at Camden International Film Festival on September 15th.

Two Strangers Trying Not to Kill Each Other, which has received the Special Mention Award at CPH:DOX 2024 and the Best International Documentary Award at Ortigia Film Festival 2024, follows the artist couple Maggie Barrett and Joel Meyerowitz as they grapple with significance and mortality together.

From Camden International Film Festival: Life, death and making meaning are the heart of a beautiful and often very funny film about Maggie Barrett and Joel Meyerowitz, an ageing artist couple who, after an accident, face the inevitability of impermanence and seek a deep peace in their relationship while they still can.

The screening was followed by a Q&A with Jacob Perlmutter.
