CPH:DOX announced the selected films for the DOX:AWARD 2023 and we are thrilled that Vintersaga, directed by Carl Olsson, has been selected for this year’s main competition.
Vintersaga is produced by Antonio Russo Merenda, Ginestra Film (SE) and is co-produced by Anne Köhncke for Final Cut For Real.
The film is a song-based mosaic of 24 meticulously framed situations in which a rich blend of souls juggle doubts, memories, textures, and dreams. Ultimately, the bitter cold winds shape a nation towards a bittersweet melancholy.
Vintersaga and the 12 other DOX:AWARD nominated films all have their world premiere at CPH:DOX 2023.
