The Look of Silence by Joshua Oppenheimer has been awarded this year's Bodil Prize for Best Documentary.
The prestigious prize is the award of the Danish film critics and the oldest film prize in Denmark.
In their statement for Oppenheimer the jury describes the documentary as "an amazingly brave and at the same time harsh and loving follow-up to The Act of Killing (...) Your film makes us feel, it makes us think, it opens our eyes to the world. For that we thank you".
