We are very excited to announce that The Distant Barking of Dogs has been nominated for a Peabody Award!
Out of more than 1200 entries, 60 contestants have been chosen as Nominees. The Distant Barking of Dogs has been nominated in the documentary section alongside acclaimed films such as American Factory, For Sama and Surviving R. Kelly.
According to the Peabody Awards Board of Jurors the 60 nominees represent “the most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting and digital media during 2019.”
Unfortunately, the traditional ceremony has been cancelled, due to the corona pandemic, but the 30 winners will be named on a not yet disclosed date.
