TV-PREMIERE OF 'NIGHT WILL FALL' MARKS HOLOCAUST DAY AROUND THE WORLD / by Maria Kristensen

On Tuesday January 27th 2015, precisely 70 years have passed since the Sovjet troops found and liberated the largest of the nazi concentration camps, Auschwitz-Birkenau, in today's southern Poland.

The date now marks the International Holocaust Remembrance Day - in Denmark called the Auschwitz Day. This year the victims of the Holocaust are commemorated in countries all over the world by a tv-premiere on the new, co-produced documentary Night Will Fall (Danish title: "Kz-lejrenes befrielse - Hitchcocks glemte film"), directed by André Singer, executive producer on The Act of Killing.

Night Will Fall is being broadcast in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Great Britain, United States of America, Finland, Israel, France, Italy, Netherland, Polen, Slovenia, Portugal and Hong Kong.
