We are happy to announce that Land of the Free has been nominated for the Danish TV Awards in the category Best Documentary. Held by The Danish Producer’s Association since 2000, the annual TV Awards honours the best of Danish television in the past year.
Camilla Magid’s moving portrayal of life after prison in the US premiered at CPH:DOX in March 2017 where it won the NORDIC:DOX AWARD, and has since been touring festivals around the globe. In April 2018 it was shown on Danish television on DR2 as part of their Dokumania series.
This year’s winners of the TV Awards will be presented on January 26 at the Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center.
